Steve Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 in San Francisco. In 1976, Jobs created the Apple Computer, and soon went on to invent even more products including Apple I, Apple II--which is considered to be one of the first PCs--and the Macintosh . During this time these products changed people's lives as they were marketed as new, young, and creative, which increased their demand. However IBM was a powerful competitor and in turn it resulted in Jobs briefly leaving his position at Apple. He ultimately returned as the CEO in the late 1990s which transformed the company as we now know it today. The iPhone, iPad, and Macbook are some of the most popular technologies which have revolutionized the world. Steve Jobs ended up passing away on October 5, 2011 in Palo Alto, California.
