PASCAL

PASCAL was a programming language, based off the ALGOL programming language, developed in the 1970s by Niklaus Wirth. It precedes Modula-2, which was superceded by Oberon. It promoted the use of conditional and loop statements, which are still used in programming languages today like Java, and was also used to program Macintosh.
