Niklaus Wirth

Born in Winterthur Switzerland on 2/15/1934, Niklaus Wirth's contributions to the computer world are very important. He developed the languages PASCAL, Modula-2, Oberon. Later, he also designed the successors of the original Oberon, Oberon-2 and Oberon-07. He has also written books about structured programming and software engineering.
