Original IBM PC

The Original IBM PC was made in 1981 by the company, IBM. Some of IBM's competitors had already started to create similar products before IBM, including HP's HP 9800. The IBM PC was the first PC with internet. However, the only item this PC didn't have that most today do have is a mouse. This personal computer, specifically the IBM 5150, was marketed towards everyone but specifically for homes and for children. This was a popular device which implemented the idea that it was "yours" and "for you". This PC changed the industry with standardized 3rd party components.
