Mini Computer

The first mini computer the PDP-1 was realeased in the year 1960. It was created by chief designer Benjamin Curley for personal work environments and was a very high tech piece of equiptment for the time period, coming with a keyboard and peripherals. At the time, the PDP-1 was the world's first small, interactive computer and was priced at $120,000. Minicomputers were so revolutionary because they were smaller computers that were developed and sold for much less. The invention of the first mini computer led to the creation of modern mini computers such as iPhones.
